ok, for some of my long-time readers, you will recall when i went to d/fw airport to greet a group of soldiers returning from iraq on an r&r flight from kuwait city. there are pics on my blog - its in the 2005 archive.
you know what? i'm going back to greet again in a couple of months. only this time - i'll be greeting my husband.

Totally off subject, but I wanted to let you know I'm currently about halfway through Such a Pretty Fat, the Jen Lancaster book you mentioned on Jen's blog. IT IS THE FUNNIEST BOOK I'VE EVER READ! Thanks for the recommendation :-)
i'm so glad you like it - since you like it, you should read her first two, because they are just as good - bitter is the new black and bright lights big ass. also check out her blog - jennsylvania.com. i totally sound like a stalker - lolol. i'm a sad sad girl. :)
LOL! I do the same thing, though. I've read everything Jennifer Weiner has written and had bookmarked her blog for a while, too, but it wasn't as entertaining as I'd hoped. When I fall in love with a book, I'll go to Borders and buy every single thing I can find by that author, so I will definitely be getting her other books. And I'll be stalking her to see when future books come out :-)
OOOOOOH i love jennifer weiner! i was kinda wierded out by her name...but i heart her! i read that jen lancaster's next book is going to be 'pretty in plaid' but i don't know when it will be out - i think she's still writing it :(
